Hi there! I'm Janelle. I have spent my life and career serving people who have developmental disabilities, spinal cord injuries and traumatic Brain injuries. I also spent time as a Medicaid case manager and also a resource coordinator where I helped people apply for social security disability benefits. I am a dedicated advocate for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. My passion lies in making a tangible difference in their lives by promoting accessibility and independence. Ans angels coalition is our solution to making sure that everyone has equal access to service dogs. Through this initiative, I aim to enhance your quality of life and contribute to a more inclusive society. Join me on this journey to empower and support those in need!

Kristy Loghry

Treasurer

Kristy retired in 2016 from a school district in Jefferson County, Colorado after 20 years of managing the finances for several schools. These jobs entailed managing budgets, paying the bills and creating and processing the student fees. Being a 501c3, knowledge around the guidelines for managing the schools’ funds was a required skill. Previous to working for the School District, she worked for several years as a church treasurer.

While never needing service dogs, her family always had dogs as pets and knows how much they become a part of the family. Dogs can bring so much to a family with their fun and goofy personalities and always seem to know when you need a cuddle.

Being asked to manage the finances for Ans Angels Coalition was an easy task to take on. She looks forward to helping this organization take on this wonderful idea of being able to serve those less fortunate with service dogs for emotional and physical support.

Dawn Scott

Lead Trainer/Training Coordinator

Dawn has spent over 10 years in the dog industry and specifically developing her own Service Dog program and perfecting her method of work. She is our resident trainer here at Ans Angels Coalition and works to develop our training program as well. She has been certified in three different Positive Reinforcement certification programs and loves to spend her time training dogs.

She grew up working with the disability community and it has been the great joy of her life to combine her love for the disabled and the unique challenges they live with and dog training. Service dog training is her passion and her life's work. She is honored to bring her experience to this space. 

Dr. Roy Ans

Board Director

Roy P. Ans received his medical degree from The New York Medical College – Flower and Fifth Avenue Hospitals. He was the graduating recipient of the Pollack Award for research in Biochemistry and went on to serve an internship in Medicine at the same institution. Roy received residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center where he also served as Chief Resident. Residency training was followed by academic appointment as a Visiting Fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Sloane Hospital for Women of the Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical
Center, New York.

Roy has been a resident of Florida since 1972 when he entered clinical practice, founding and serving as managing partner of a multi-physician practice of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has been elected a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.
In addition to his private practice, Roy helped establish and was the clinical liaison to Broward County Rape Crisis Intervention Program. He also served as Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology  of Memorial Regional Hospital and during his tenure developed and supervised the transition from a traditional labor and delivery service to a family centered birthing program. Since retirement from active practice, Roy has been certified in the Guardian Ad Litem Program of the Florida State Courts and serves to represent the best interest of abused and neglected
children in judicial court proceedings. He has also been a mentor for female health issues at the Starting Place, a teenage drug treatment program residential facility.
Roy was elected to the board of Visitors and Governors of Washington College, his alma mater.Currently, Roy is a member of the society of Visitors and Governors of Washinton College.

Over the years, he has created several endowments addressing socioeconomic and minority interests.
