Our Mission

Our Mission is to provide service dogs to individuals who cannot afford or are unable to secure a service dog from established non-profit agencies. The individual must apply for, or already be receiving social security disability benefits. This could include benefits from an equivalent recognized entity. Our program has locations in 12 different states. The end goal is to have a location in every state for the accessibility of our clients. Our flagship dog Moochie illustrates how we operate .

Moochie’s Story

Moochie is the reason we are able to be here, doing what we love to do. She was raised and trained to do obstacle avoidance for a clients for a different Service Dog company. She spent 18 months working and training for a partially blind client to work in a city atmosphere. She is such an astounding dog. Moochie went home and was working with her new handler when tragedy struck their home. The handler underwent a procedure and it ended in tragedy. Her handler was now fully blind. How Does our Program Work?

Our program is built around the AKC CGC titles. Every dog that comes into our program must pass all three titles being evaluated by a third party trainer before they can become fully trained service dogs. In this unique way each dog, no matter the tasks, actually begins the program in the exact same format. We are doing early socialization into the testing standards to set each dog and handler up for success. This also allows us to do a “career change,” for the dogs should we need. We can easily change task work and add or drop tasks for the handlers which makes our dogs very adaptable.

• Purchasing dogs from reputable breeders
• Feeding the dogs
• Veterinary care
• Pet Insurance
• Funding the training needed
• Transportation costs for the final trip home
• Admin fee’s for the non-profit

Your donations to Ans Angels Coalition are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt for your next years taxes. These donations fund everything from the purchasing of the dogs and all their care, to sending our trainers to bring the dogs home and setting our handlers up for success.  We are able to help these clients change their lives, and gain independence because of the kindness of our donors.
